GHTC endorsed a letter from the Global Health Council urging House and Senate appropriators to provide robust funding for global health programs in the fiscal year 2019 State and Foreign Operations and Labor, Health and Human Services spending bills as they conference each chambers’ respective bills.
GHTC sent a letter to members of the House of Representatives in support of the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act of 2018 (H.R. 6378) (PAHPA), commending the inclusion of specific provisions and dedicated funding to advance the development of medical countermeasures to address emerging infectious diseases and pandemic influenza.
